Important information regarding the covid-19 pandemic

At Primary Eyecare Professionals, the health of our patients is a top priority. We are closely monitoring the situation, and following the recommendations of the IL Department of Public Health during phased reopening. Accordingly, we have implemented some new guidelines to comply with Phase 4 of Restore Illinois, and ensure the health and safety of both our patients and staff.

LIMITED PATIENT CARE

Exams and Check-Ups

We are currently limiting all examinations, contact lens checks, and emergency appointments to one per hour. Please call our office from the parking lot to check in when you arrive.

We ask that you minimize any extra family members accompanying you at your appointment.

Eyewear and/or Contact Lens Pick-Ups

We are currently offering scheduled curbside dispensing of all products. Please call our office to schedule a time to pickup your eyewear and/or contacts, give us a ring when you arrive, and we'll run it right out!

EXTRA SANITARY MEASURES

Masks

To limit potential spread of the virus, we require that everyone in the building be wearing a face mask at all times. If you don't have one, we'll be happy to provide one for you!

One-Way Travel

When entering the office for your appointment, please enter through our front door as usual. At the conclusion of your appointment, one of our staff members will guide you to our back door to exit. This allows us to make sure our entryway and front desk are able to be sanitized for our next patient.

Temperature Checks

Upon entering the office, one of our staff will take your temperature.

Plexiglass Barrier

We have installed a temporary plexiglass barrier at the front desk to allow for proper social distancing while still allowing for privacy compliance during interactions with our receptionist.

Office Santization

After each appointment, we are taking extra steps to sanitize all seating, equipment, rooms and frames.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call our office at (815) 469-2020.

Most importantly, if you are feeling ill, please stay home and feel better!
