Dr. Don
LoConte
Dr. Don LoConte, co-owner of Primary Eyecare Professionals, was born and raised in Evergreen Park, Illinois.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Illinois University, followed by a Doctor of Optometry degree from the
Illinois College of Optometry.
Dr. LoConte has trained at the Center for Advanced Medicine at the University Of Chicago Hospitals, the West-Side Veterans
Administration Hospital in Chicago and the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago. Dr. LoConte has published a study in the Journal
of Glaucoma and also worked for a major pharmaceutical company before becoming an optometrist.
Dr. LoConte has volunteered his time as a member of the Parkview Christian Church medical mission team in Costa Rica and also donates
his time as a volunteer at the Illinois State Special Olympics Summer Games in Bloomington/Normal.
Dr. LoConte is a trustee of the Chicago South Suburban Optometric Society and an active member of the Illinois Optometric Association, the American
Optometric Association, and the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. LoConte lives in Mokena with his wife Colleen and their two daughters Delaney and Regan.
